At Learning About Life we believe we will create a successful learning environment for students. How? We have expectations!
We expect:
- Students to be on time and prepared for the program/activity that day.
- Students to read the assigned reading when necessary or 30 minutes each day.
- Students to participate in at least 2 service projects yearly.
- Parents and students to carry themselves in a positive manner while out on a field trip, to represent Learning About Life in a positive way.
- Parents and students to assist other members of our school family when possible, to ensure we are being the best we can; teamwork; work together to help each other improve!
- Parents to pay their fees on time to ensure we are able to reserve the rented space we need.
What you can expect from LAL:
- To be ready for our day when student arrives to the program or activity so we can get right into learning!
- To treat each student as an individual person, who has individual needs and curiosities.
- To have a small group size so your child will receive personal attention.
- To show each student that learning can be fun, hands-on and remembered.
- To utilize a variety of learning resources to enhance a lesson throughout the day, not a boxed curriculum.
- To supply you with the resource documentation for your portfolio, for your annual evaluation at the end of your school term, if needed. (County Homeschoolers)
